There are too many people on the planet who don’t believe that global poverty is changeable. They think that people in need are there either by their own choosing or by some sort of divine act. To these people, there’s no way to fix the way the world is.

Others even believe that poverty isn’t a real issue. They’re so far from the problem of poverty that they refuse to believe there are still people in the world who die of hunger, people who can’t read, people who have to travel miles just to bring their families water.
