Where else can you access thousands of books on hundreds of different topics, not to mention movies, e-books, computer access, free printing, all with a community vibe that is completely unique to each library’s neighborhood? While your local library can always use your money, there are plenty of other ways to show your undying support. Here are a few:
1. Take a child to the library
Image via FlickrPass the love on to the next generation! One of my favorite memories as a child was walking over to the library to exchange one stack of books for another. Perhaps one of the most lasting, influential things you can do to help out your library is to instill a love of reading in your children. This ensures readers of all ages for many many years to come!
