Fight Illiteracy by Reading!

Listen up: the first ever National Readathon Day, organized by The National Book Foundation, Penguin Random House, Goodreads, and Mashable, is coming! Join your fellow booklovers around the world Saturday, January 24th, from 12pm to 4pm for a reading marathon to support literacy. But first, go here to learn how you can help the “40% of American adults (who) are either at or below basic reading proficiency, and (the) 14% (who) are fully illiterate.” Need some inspiration to get started? Watch some of your favorite authors talk about how important reading is for all.
